Hyacinth C. Ahuruonye, managing principal, certified public accountant, and chief strategist, is the founder of HCA & Co. He is a highly respected business executive and consultant and has represented various corporate and non-corporate business entities, emerging and established entrepreneurs, corporate executives, non-profit community-based organizations, professional athletes, politicians, entertainers, high-profile and high net-worth individuals, and educators – all with the same dedication, passion, and commitment to meeting their needs and exceeding their expectations.

A consummate professional with a proven track record of success, Mr. Ahuruonye has provided strong leadership in professional and civic arenas, serving on and advising various boards. Mr. Ahuruonye has received numerous awards and commendations for his tireless community service, both globally and locally, including his work and advocacy on behalf of alternative programs for troubled youth. He regularly employs local youth under his paid internship programs where youth are exposed to various work environments and real-life experiences.

Mr. Ahuruonye has been among few business executives and entrepreneurs invited to The White House for a briefing on the economy and small business. Mr. Ahuruonye shared his insight and observations with other attendees and senior White House officials. There are still ongoing dialogues today as a result of this meeting.

He has also served as senior policy advisor to elected officials, as well as senior corporate management executives on productivity and organizational efficiencies and corporate Board of Directors on effective corporate governance and accountability matters. Mr. Ahuruonye is the consumate adviser to a cadre of executives.

He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the National Society of Public Accountants, the National Association of Black Accountants, the National Association of Enrolled Agents, and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.

A long-time San Francisco resident, Mr. Ahuruonye was born in Nigeria and graduated with an honors degree in accounting from Alabama A&M University in Huntsville, Alabama. He and his wife, Terri, are the proud parents of Derrick and Amara.
